Job Description

Managing the department and ensuring that all team members perform and deliver an excellent standard of service to guest.

Responsible for spotless cleanliness in all areas and ensure that all SOP are meticulously followed.

Preparing Yearly Budgets.

Raising & Finalizing Quotations for departmental purchase & preparing purchase orders.

Track follow-ups, Inter & Intra department & ensure adherence.

Handling Guest Complaints

Responsible for Recruitment, Training, Development & Appraisals of staff.

Assist with overseeing Housekeeping operations

Operate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules

Support departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures

Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Housekeeping Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork

Ensure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities

Ensure staffing levels cover business demands

Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated

Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures

Support managing, training and developing the Front Office team

Assist other departments wherever necessary

Planning and organization of business promotions, events, activities and media relations Implementing pricing strategies via-a-via competition Understanding and adapting to modern trends in food fashion Planning and execution of various Food Festival promotions Increased sales, controlled costs and kept track of customer satisfaction index Maintained service standards by effective recruitment, training and organization of service staff Handled several corporate training projects Responsible for direct selling and marketing the Hotel facilities Handling guest complaints & emergencies Creating innovative marketing strategies to further business interests Maintaining a healthy PR with the Individual Guests and Corporate Clients Strengthening the brand value of the organization by continuous feedback, learning’s & implementation Responsible for ensuring health & safety regulation in the Hotel Deciding of various Rates, Discounts & Package provided to the Corporate & NGO’s Handling internal management and staff admission of all Operating & non-Operating Departments F&B Dept. in coordination with Chef with Implementation of good attraction and specialties on monthly & weekly basis Day to day involvement in handling various functions with the division in all the departments
